New City Kids

Partnering with Parents to Raise Children who Love Jesus

The children’s ministry at New City is designed to encourage the next generation to choose Jesus everyday and experience the abundant life He came to give.  Each Sunday, your child will learn the Bible and how it relates to Jesus in an age-appropriate way. The lessons are fun and approachable, and taught by committed volunteers and staff who serve Jesus by serving you and your kids.

For your little ones, infants through 4th grade, we have interactive worship and hands-on lessons at all  of our services.

New City Students

New City Student Ministries is committed to building a culture of belonging. We believe when students find a place of acceptance they begin to move forward in discovering who Jesus is and the life Jesus created them to live. Within a culture of belonging students begin to flourish in relationship with Jesus.

Our Middle School Ministry  (5th-8th) meets during our 8:30 & 10:00a services on Sunday and our High School Ministry (9th-12th) meets during the 11:30a service.

Community Groups

Don’t get Lost in the Crowd

Yes, New City is bustling with hundreds of people in each of our multiple services each Sunday. But church is more than a service. New City Community Groups are small gatherings of people who are learning to be like Jesus. We ask all of our groups to be built around five core principles that we see in the Scripture: caring for each other, studying with each other, praying with each other, eating with each other, and serving with each other.

We call these community groups—they’re the heart of our church. They’re the way we grow smaller in the midst of all the hustle and bustle, and the only way to not get lost in the crowd.

Core is a discipleship experience that will guide you to discover how to live as a disciple of Jesus. You will learn and be challenged to follow Christ as a part of New City Church in the places you live, work, study, and play.

New City Studio

New City Studio exists to serve and flourish the arts scene of downtown Phoenix. Strategically located on Central Ave in the heart of the Central Arts District, we make a point of promoting local art and artists across as many mediums as we can support (visual art, sculpture, music, etc.)

The gallery space’s most intentional and consistent use is on First Fridays and Third Fridays, coinciding with the city’s Art Walk. This is our best opportunity to promote artists and help thrive the arts scene of our city. For more info, visit our website.

Counseling Services

New City Church offers pastoral counseling on a case-by-case basis but also refers those seeking on-going counseling to other counselors.
