New City College
New City College meets on Mondays and offers a unique blend of service and serving opportunities. It is designed to connect college students with each other and with the overall body of our church. We do this by hosting social and educational events throughout the year, as well as helping our college kids get involved with host families and serve in other ministries. Although college is only a short amount of time, it’s important to be intentional and impactful throughout the experience! We want to cultivate a community of college students who take the message of Jesus to the places they live, work, study, and play.
HOST FAMILIES
Our host families are made up of couples and families who are willing to invite college students into their homes for meals, conversation and an investment into their lives. It’s a great way for you to find support and build community while in school. Click on the link below to find a host family.
SERVING OPPORTUNITIES
Whether we’re working with one of our partner organizations on a specific project or just cleaning up around the city, our college ministry prioritizes giving back. Stay in-the-know on our latest service projects and events below. You can also view our church serving opportunities and sign up to volunteer here.
Whether you’re a college student or an adult, you can serve by way of mentoring at New City. We’ll help set up different mentoring opportunities based on needs – from adults helping students who are nearing graduation to older students mentoring younger ones. Mentoring is a great way to build relationships, seek advice and gain support. If you’re interested in being a mentor or mentee, please email us.
City Serve Nights
Join us on the second Monday of every month for a service night! We gather at New City first, then we head out into the community to serve wherever we’re needed – typically it’s with one of our ministry partners such as a local school or Phoenix Rescue Mission. It’s a special time to come alongside and support other organizations around us! Check out the events calendar below for details about our next opportunity.
INTERNSHIPS
If you call New City home and you’re interested in full-time ministry, you can learn more about our internship program below. Our internship semesters are four months long, and they’re offered in the spring, summer and fall. They include hands-on work experience as well as pastoral mentorship and community building.
