About Our Leaders
New City Church is overseen by elders, led day-to-day by pastors and staff, and powered by countless servant volunteers.
Brian Kruckenberg, Steve Eriksson, Ryan Romeo, Amy Holden, Brian Whitman, and Zach Carlson lead and pastor our various ministries to children and adults. They ensure that the church is aligned theologically and are responsible for the spiritual development of the congregation.
Our New City staff supports our pastors and the daily ministry operations of the church. From worship and production, to kids and student ministry, to administration, finance, communications, and care, the broader team plays a vital role in helping the church carry out the mission.
Our team of overseers (also known as “elders”) provide accountability and oversight of the lead pastor, church finances, and the overall health of all pastors and staff. The Oversight Team, which meets 10-12 times per year, is responsible for ensuring that the church stays firmly committed to its vision, values, and beliefs.
The current members of the Oversight Team are Brian Kruckenberg (Lead Pastor), Rawleigh Grove, Derek Turner, and John Smeck.
