Due to the large gathering restrictions put in place by the CDC in response to COVID-19, we will not be meeting at New City Church this weekend. For more information, visit newcityphx.com/updates. Age-specific resources for your children can be found on our Parent’s Place page. We will update this page with new resources each week as long as we are not meeting together.

New City Kids is a ministry for children from birth through fourth grade. We desire to create a safe and welcome environment for your children while setting a solid, biblical foundation. We strive to consistently engage your kids through stories and activities designed specifically with each age group in mind.

Fun, Age-Appropriate, Safe

Whether learning to crawl or learning to read, New City volunteers design curriculum to meet your child where they’re at. Your child’s safety is our utmost concern. All volunteers pass an application process and background check. Please clarify any special concerns, including allergies, custody issues, or special needs to your child’s classroom leader.

As a New City parent, you can expect your child’s class to be both a fun and spiritually engaging space. Not only are the New City Kids leaders required to pass story-reading and sing-along exam, they genuinely love kiddos and volunteer to serve them. Rest assured, your little ones are in good hands.

The best teacher for your child is you. New City wants to equip you with the tools to engage your child in their spiritual development. Pick up a weekly “small talk” card to find out what your child is learning, so you can keep the discussion going at home. You can also subscribe to the monthly small talk email to get a head-start on upcoming curriculum.

Serving the families of New City is an honor and blessing to the New City Kids Team. Like every team there are many positions and skill levels needed. We’d love to meet with you and tell you more about the New City Kids Team and how you could serve it up with us!
