IN-PERSON SERVICES

New City Kids is excited to resume in person services at 8:30, 10:00 and 11:30 am with no pre-registration required. We will continue to follow our physical distancing guidelines along with our updated cleaning procedures and adhering to our teacher to child ratios. We will also continue to refer to our detailed sick policy for children and volunteers and ask that all families exercise ongoing personal responsibility.

New City Kids is a ministry for children from birth through fourth grade. We desire to create a safe and welcome environment for your children while setting a solid, biblical foundation. We strive to consistently engage your kids through stories and activities designed specifically with each age group in mind.

Fun, Age-Appropriate, Safe

Whether learning to crawl or learning to read, New City volunteers design curriculum to meet your child where they’re at. Your child’s safety is our utmost concern. All volunteers pass an application process and background check. Please clarify any special concerns, including allergies, custody issues, or special needs to your child’s classroom leader.

ONLINE PARENT RESOURCES

The best teacher for your child is you. Whether you’re joining us in person or online, New City wants to equip you with the tools to engage your child in their spiritual development. Each week we will provide you with a “small talk” card to help you know what your child has learned in class. Check out the Parent’s Place page for our weekly videos and additional resources.

VOLUNTEER IN NEW CITY KIDS

Serving the families of New City is an honor and blessing to the New City Kids Team. Like every team there are many positions and skill levels needed. We’d love to meet with you and tell you more about the New City Kids Team and how you could serve it up with us!

INTENTIAL PARENTING

Begins Tuesday, October 13 from 6:00-7:30pm

All parents at New City are invited to join us for this six-week class on Tuesday evenings based on the book “Intentional Parenting: 10 Ways to be an Exceptional Parent in a Quick Fix World.” We’ll discuss a range of parenting topics and challenges, as well feature 10 specific actions you can take to impact your parenting now and in the future. Whether you have toddlers or teenagers at home, we think you’ll benefit from the practical strategies in this book. The class costs $25, which includes the book and childcare (if needed).
