We are excited to announce that in-person New City Kids programs will resume on Sunday, July 12! We are taking this extra time to ensure that we have a solid reopening plan in place. Along with physical distancing guidelines, updated cleaning policies and a smaller teacher-to-child ratio, we will also be implementing initial registration requirements and new pick-up and drop-off procedures. Additionally, we will have a detailed sick policy for children and volunteers. We ask that all families exercise personal responsibility during this time and monitor symptoms to help us keep everyone healthy and safe. To learn more about the changes we’re making, read the full plan below.

We will continue to offer online resources for your children. They can be found on our Parent’s Place page.

New City Kids is a ministry for children from birth through fourth grade. We desire to create a safe and welcome environment for your children while setting a solid, biblical foundation. We strive to consistently engage your kids through stories and activities designed specifically with each age group in mind.

Fun, Age-Appropriate, Safe

Whether learning to crawl or learning to read, New City volunteers design curriculum to meet your child where they’re at. Your child’s safety is our utmost concern. All volunteers pass an application process and background check. Please clarify any special concerns, including allergies, custody issues, or special needs to your child’s classroom leader.

As a New City parent, you can expect your child’s class to be both a fun and spiritually engaging space. Not only are the New City Kids leaders required to pass story-reading and sing-along exam, they genuinely love kiddos and volunteer to serve them. Rest assured, your little ones are in good hands.

The best teacher for your child is you. New City wants to equip you with the tools to engage your child in their spiritual development. Pick up a weekly “small talk” card to find out what your child is learning, so you can keep the discussion going at home. You can also subscribe to the monthly small talk email to get a head-start on upcoming curriculum.

Serving the families of New City is an honor and blessing to the New City Kids Team. Like every team there are many positions and skill levels needed. We’d love to meet with you and tell you more about the New City Kids Team and how you could serve it up with us!
