This casual get-together is open to all moms! Bring your kids for a fun story time and activity at New City while you enjoy some coffee, snacks and social time. Please register in advance to ensure we have enough craft supplies and snacks for everyone.
This seven-week class, held every Thursday night, will help engaged and newly married couples create a biblical foundation for their marriage. Couples will explore biblical principles from leading books on marriage, as well as take a SYMBIS assessment to gain valuable insights into relationship growth. It costs $35 per couple.
At New City, our group life begins with Core. It will help set the foundation for you as you take the next steps of your discipleship journey with us. During this experience, you will explore how to live as a disciple of Jesus today, as well as learn more about New City’s vision. You’ll work in our Core devotional and gather with a group each week to discuss it. Typically, we want everyone to go through Core before joining any other community or seasonal groups available each semester.
Starting on January 17, we’re holding a church-wide supply drive for Hope Women’s Center! We need new health and beauty items and Valentine’s treat donations, including: tampons, pads, nail polish, lip gloss, lotion, candy and $5 gift cards for local fast food chains. Please bring any donations to the Welcome Bar through the end of January. You can also order items through Amazon and have them delivered to New City (1300 N Central Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85004) between Monday – Thursday.
Once we’ve collected the donation items, we’ll gather together on February 2 at 6:30 pm to assemble care packages! All women are invited to join us for community and collaboration at this evening social. We’ll put “Galentine’s” care bags together, make cards, enjoy dessert and pray for those who serve, lead and rely on Hope Women’s Center.

All parents at New City are invited to join us for this six-week class on Tuesday evenings based on the book “Intentional Parenting: 10 Ways to be an Exceptional Parent in a Quick Fix World.” We’ll discuss a range of parenting topics and challenges, as well feature 10 specific actions you can take to impact your parenting now and in the future. Whether you have toddlers or teenagers at home, we think you’ll benefit from the practical strategies in this book. The class costs $25, which includes the book and childcare (if needed).
Start 2021 off with an extra dose of health and fitness at New City! Join us for a special women’s social featuring a workout and a wellness discussion with Alisa Keeton, the founder of Revelation Wellness. Her non-profit ministry is dedicated to inspiring others to live healthy and whole lives in Christ. Come dressed in comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat, if you have one. There’s no cost to attend and childcare will be provided.
Now more than ever, moms need support and encouragement! At New City Moms, we strive to create a welcoming community of women who share, learn and grow together. This spring, we will be reading and discussing the book “Risen Motherhood,” which connects the gospel to everyday life. Depending on your schedule, you can join us every other Tuesday morning from 9:30 – 11:30 am or every other Wednesday evening from 6:30 – 8:00 pm. We’ll also have an online option available.
