At New City, we prioritize gathering purposefully. We are intentional in what we do and how we do it. Our worship ministry takes this to heart as we plan the music, prayer and scripture that goes with our teaching on Sunday mornings.

Our musical style is a mix of both modern songs and hymns of the past. We desire to create a genuine environment of worship and a sacred offering of ourselves to Jesus Christ. We see the apostle Paul make this plea to us in Romans 12:1 – “I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.”

We strive to create a space for people to encounter the Living God in bold ways through our Sunday services. This is accomplished through volunteers who have a passion to serve and offer their gifts musically and artistically. New City holds to a standard of excellence in our music (Psalm 33:3). However, our skillful playing must go hand in hand with our desire to lead humbly and authentically (Matthew 15:8, John 4:24).

Along with our worship team, our production team plays an important role in making Sunday services and other events happen and ensuring they run smoothly. Our production volunteers handle the cameras, slides, video directing and more.
